Welcome,
This WikiSpace was created as a group project for Introduction to Technology for Educators. The students in this course are Education Majors and working towards a degree in teaching in various grade levels and subject areas. Each group member was responsible for researching a learning strategy from the Marzano data base. This particular WikiSpaces could be used and viewed by many different types of people from future educators to teachers already in the field, as well as parents and students a like. Our goal for this project was to provide a few examples and uses of instructional strategies backed by research and displayed in a convenient manner for several different parties.
The contents of this WikiSpace include; Complex Cognitive Tasks, Engagement Strategies, Graphic Organizers and Nonlinguistic Representations. Each page is specific to an individual within the group but has a central theme of the way the information is organized.
We hope that you are able to use this WikiSpace as an educational or study tool or just as an information outlet.
Thank you for stopping by our page!
